At The Gearbox Specialists, we offer a full warranty on all replacements and rebuilds for both manual and automatic gearboxes. A free-of-charge oil check/level check should be carried out approximately 500 miles after installation.

All manual and automatic gearboxes have a 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty (whichever comes first). For any further information on our warranties, please visit our garage in Bournemouth or contact us today.

Our Warranty

The warranty may be rendered void under the following circumstances:
  • Not having the prescribed check at 500 miles
  • Incorrect fitting or setting up of unit (except where installed by The Clutch & Gearbox Specialists)
  • Failure caused by any part not supplied with the unit (for example prop shafts, drive shafts, clutches, linkages, coolers, pipes and others)
  • Incorrect quantity or type of lubricant
  • Incorrect maintenance, misuse, overloading however temporary, for example by bump starting, accidental damage, competition use or driver error
Consequential costs (towing, accommodation, car hire, loss of time and use) are not covered by the warranty.
